My passion for effective communications drove me to further my education after 12 years of marketing and public relations experience. This non-traditional sequence gave me the ability to directly apply classroom learning to real-life experience. I have a craving to know more. This need to know continues to be fed through formal and informal learning. I work diligently to collect information, gather insights, discover new ideas and observe human interaction. My passion for learning is key to reaching my goal of helping organizations and individuals become more successful through effective communications.

I first attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah as an international business major, but changed my focus to communications when I returned in 2014. In 2015, I was accepted into the public relations program and have maintained a 4.0 in all program classes.
